A must for all lowering spring upgrades. Some 500E owners have changed to this shock/strut since it provides linear performance vs. the 500E's OE staggered performance due to the built-in limiting springs.

I've been looking for a suspension upgrade for my wagon, and found your posts to be great. Are the Bilsteins still available? And what would you recommend for springs to lower the car an inch and firm up the ride a bit, but still keep things comfortable?

I would recommend 500E front springs with a 1-bump pad; for more lowering and still comfort, go Eibach; for even more lowering, go H&R.
