With <30k mi. on trans. it is as good as could be expected. Shifted exactly as the day it was installed and setup. Fluid never lost it's new umph.

Re: Parts

Thanks Breckman and Ben for the intrest in my parts; I would consider engine only for $1600. Transmission only for $700, w/converter $750.
Thanks all who are interested

Engine price

Davinci,

I thought your original thread mentioned a price of $2,000.00 for everything, now the price is $2,350.00. Seems it would be cheaper for me to make an arrangement with Breckman to have the whole thing shipped to him and then buy the engine from him and pay shorter shipping costs. Is the engine from a '85? What about doing a compression test and a leak down test?

Ben

I would be intrested in the ship as whole unit and split it off possibly - i am in need of a good tranny!!! - (this would fit into a 126 with no problems correct?) thanks WILLIAM

Do we have a sale?

Hi. William,
Just swap over the tail housing for all US 126's have electronic spedo.

Hello Ben,
It's from an 83' always had a good valve adj. and started -7deg. Farentheit not pluged in for preheat. That should say it all.
Any service you want done I'll do for a fee: It runs on Mobil Delvac(syn.) change oil, retorque cylander head, adj. valves, new injectors and check and set if necessary the injection stroke timming, freshen up the turbo, check plugs, leak and compression test, video tape it for you and tape to the valve cover the paper card with graph of the five cylanders cranking 4 turns.

Anthony

Yes and thanks,

But I'am not decided that spliting the unit will hurt the engine sale.
Lots of private interest in the transmission but little in the engine.
