new hood pad 84 380sl

hello
am about it install a new hood pad using Dap bonding cement

does anyone suggest a better cement/bonding product to use

would like to do the job right the first time
thanks jim

well i installed the pad - used the Dap - worked great as expected

i did the job - used window curtain espandable spring loaded rods to hold the pad inplace as i Daped and pressed an area - did a 1/3 at a time - no problem - o used a rubber roller as well

snug as a bug in a rug

question? is ther a smaller pad that is used for the upper part of the hood
