4 EvoII Rims from E500 Limited

17" x 8.25" with 245/45 Michelin Pilot Sport tires with maybe 7500 miles left on them. Rims are very good to excellent and completely straight with inside weights...$1200 OBO plus shipping or free delivery in Southern New England for some beer and a few bucks for gas.

Own a piece of a legend !!!

e-mail me off-line if really interested, thanx

Jim,

I'm curious, are those rims polished, painted or the Titanium color. Have any pics?

What year are the tires, are they the latest Michelin Pilots or older model?

Thanks.

Jim,

What offset do these wheels have? I have a 1988 300E and a 1998 E300D TurboDiesel I would like to buy new wheels for, and am curious if these would fit. Thanks, Jim

OK fellas...rims are polished...offset is 34...I believe the tires are the newer model sports but will check on that when I get back home. I can send anyone pix thru regular e-mail so contact me directly on my personal e-mail and I jet them out to yous. jnorris@usgs.gov or JamesNorrisF@aol.com

Jim...pretty sure they'll fit your 88 but not the 98...I could be wrong though.

FAD...thanx for the tip...I'll reach out to him.

FWIW these rims won't fit a regular W124 chassis without serious modifications. Wheel will fit any R129 SL or W124 500E/E500.

Wish I needed a set - nice stuff!

BTW, they will fit on the rear of a 124 and a 201 while 7.5" ers fit better in the front. All around on a 129 in the 8.25", some SLs even came with the EvoII rims...Mike may be right about much work needed to fit on the fronts of a 124 and 201 in the 8.25" width. Maybe throw a front 500E fender on and it'll work (?)
