Are they painted silver or polished alloy?

they are 16" wheels. The tires are 225/60-16. They are polished alloys. Don't know what car they came from. Will look for the offset tonight and post here later. Probably 30mm+...

Well, the offset would be critical, for those that are interested.

The 16 inch wheels were only offered on the W124 500E, the W140 chasis, and the R129 SL's.

The offsets are different for each chasis.

Like Larry Bible said, the offset is printed on the inside of the wheel. The MB part # is also printed. You'll also see a number that looks something like these:

W124 500E would be - 8.0Jx16H2 aluminum alloy

W140 would be - 7.5Jx16H2 aluminum alloy

R129 SL's would be - 8.0Jx16H2 aluminum alloy

FWIW- the 16-inch 8-hole wheel was offerred in other W124's other than the 500E, it just wasn't offerred in the USA.

The European W124 400E had 7.0Jx16 (I have one wheel as my spare for the wagon!).

Also the European W210's had 7.5Jx16 ET41 16-inch 8-hole wheels. I have four on my wagon!

I posted a repy in the wheels section.
Does anyone know what offset I would need for a 1990 300SE?
If these wheels fit I will take them as long as they are not bent.
THanks,
Dan
