WTB: 16x7.5 or 17" rims with >=25mm max backspace
Please write me with a desc. what you are selling. I want to upgrade my stock rims on my 1990 300SE.
Looking to go to MB 8 hole style in 16" but I am willing to consider another syle or size. Must have 25 mm or less back spacing. I will consider rims with tires, chrome, painted polished. any finish good or bad, but rim must not be bent or chunks taken out of it. Thanks, Dan

I have some AMG AERO wheels 17x8 ET28, I am not sure what you mean by less than 25, which direction? Two of the wheels are perfect, one has some slight scratches, one needs a little work, and I have another one thats messed up. Let me know if you are intersted, my email is Amcleod11@yahoo.com, they have dunlop tires on them if that matters.

Be careful on terminology
"Backspacing" is a term often used in "Hot Rod" magazine and other American car journals, but it refers to the distance from the mounting face of the rim to a straightedge laid across its inner rim flanges, so the type of rim you're talking about would have a backspacing of about 125mm or more, not just 25mm. Backspacing is used to give a quick reference to check for potential suspension clearance problems on the inside of the rim.
"Offset" is the distance from the mounting surface of the wheel to its centerline, and in this context, dimensions like ET 25mm or ET 37MM make sense. |

Tump, I checked the rims you are selling but they are the wrong offset. THanks anyway.
Dan
