2.24 differential needed '84 126 500SEL
 

HELP!! I have a clunking differential, my 1983 grey mkt 500sel (same as US 1984) is acting up after 325k miles.
Majority of car is restored,, rebuilt engine, new radiator, all suspension, bushings etc. BUT I hate to hear a clunk when the auto tranny upshifts or downshifts.

The case part number is R1263510308
and the stamp on the gear box is 443594 2.24

If ANYONE has a match I that works well I would like to buy, OR if you have a resourse that carries rebuilt or rebuilds.
