FS 8 hole MB wheels from 140(7.5x16)

I have a set of (4) wheels from my 1992 300SD for sale...wheels are straight and fairly free of scratches...depending on how picky you are you can use them as is or have them refinished(or do it yourself)...they were the MB stock original set of wheels on my car and I have purchased a new set...local pickup would be great and one of them still has a Michelin tire(225/60-16 MXV4) on it that would be free for a local pickup buyer....but I can also ship(probably about $50-60) ups for the four boxes

asking $300 for the set of four...I can e-mail pics of one or two of them if anyone is interested

Warren,
Hi. I see by the thread subject that these are 16x7.5. Do you know if they would work on the 1994 E420 I just got? I am considering different (or additional) wheels.

Thanks,

I am not sure if they will fit an E420(maybe ask your nearest dealer?)....they are the stock wheels that came with the 6 cylinder 140's(both gas and diesel variety)
as opposed to the 8x16 which came with the 8 and 12 cylinder cars

I will take some digital pix and post some here

Yes, it's a blast! It's been almost 10 years since I've had a V-8, and that was a toned down American one. This one is a rush to drive and has a great ride. I traded in the old Dodge Neon. Doing 70mph in this car has the same feeling as doing 50mph in the Neon. It's dangerous that way! I really have to be careful because it's so comfortable when above the speed limit. I'll bet your S-class has the same "problem".

Warren,
Hi. Please see this thread in the Wheels forum:
FS: 16" 8 hole wheels and tires
Can you tell me the numbers off your wheels like in the photo in this thread?

Thanks,

12 or 14mm bolts?

just a thought guys,

be sure to check to see if your app uses 12 or 14mm lug bolts.

i know the C and older E cars utilize 12mm bolts, and wanted to get some newer "S" wheels, but found out that they are 14mm bolts.

i almost lived and learned this the hard way:

i am unsure which the older S or SD cars utilize. - benton

ok...I am really ready to sell these wheels....$250(or better if you act quickly) plus shippingfor a complate set of 8 hole wheels from my 1992 300SD(140 chasis) car...they are 7.5Jx16 according to the owners manual...if someone is local they can even have the 225/60/16 Michelin MXV tire(has about 35K miles on it) also
Comes with the center caps also.....wheels have some finish wear...but are straight and true
