Aluminum racing floor jack
Have a new aluminum racing floor jack still in the box for sale. This will lift 3000lbs in six strokes and only weighs 37lbs. The handle is in two parts for an easy trunk fit. It will lift low from 3.5"
up to 17.6" and has a rubber pad on the saddle. There is a grab handle on each side for carrying. Great for D/E events and shop use. Can ship this beautiful jack to your door for $300. Only have this one because of an order screwup. Tobias MB 4 MBs |

How does the build quality and longevity compare to a good LINCOLN jack? Are there spare parts available like the LINCOLN for rebuilding?
Thanks, :-) neil |

Neil,
Being new on the market, not sure about longevity but it does come with a full listed parts number documentation and contact numbers. I still use a 30 year old Blackhawk which has only been rebuilt twice now....knock on wood! But the downside is that it weighs 110 lbs, too heavy for trackside travels. Tobias MB 4 MBs |

Tobias- is it similar to the jack pictured at this site: http://off-roadproducts.com/economyjack.html
Or even better, like jacks found here: http://www.hyjacks.com/race.htm Is it hydraullic or a screw-jack? Who is the manufacturer? Any warranty from the manufacture? There are so many levels of quality on these, you might be offerring a bargain on a very high quality jack, but none of us would know it. TIA, :-) neil 1988 360TE AMG Last edited by ke6dcj; 01-20-2003 at 04:02 AM. |

Neil,
Yes, it does appear to be the same maybe to the $225 jack you posted. We also got another to use as a spare to take to the races for the TransAm car I crew on. There is no warranty but a 30 day satisfaction return on the ones we got so far. Maybe as they sell more and get an idea of reliability, they will then offer a warranty of some sort. That Viper jack looks good to use on four post lifts if the capacity is up to par. Sort of a modified sissors jack, but the trouble with them is the capacity at start is far lower than when higher up. That is the mechanical advantage of them! Tobias MB 4 MBs |
