'88 560SEL Suspension Parts FS

In the process of trial and error I have been replacing my rear suspension components, but have yet to fix the problem. I must assume these parts are functional but no way to test.

Rear self leveling pump (one mounted to the engine) OE Febi pump returned fluid to the res. prior to removal, I think it is good, no leaks.

Rear self leveling valve, OE part, replaced with no effect on rear ride height so again I think it is good.

Both these parts fit many many different models (300TE, W126, W116, etc.) check the info out.

Looking for $125 for the pair plus shipping.

Do you still have the parts? Did you finally fix the problem with your car since you have changed all the SLS parts?

Hoopster, I have a 1986 560 sel with the same problem as yours, did replacing all of the components finally help? If not, I may be replacing my self leveling system with KYB-Gas-a-just shocks and new springs off of a 1985 500sel (stronger)

I am wanting to avoid what happened to you. I replaced the spheres with no change, pump works well, so its either the actuator or the lines...sooooo...

if you still have the actuator let me know, my email address is
VstarLT@aol.com. Either way, I would love to hear what you have done and if you finally found success. These cars are great but my wife doesn't like the low rider look either!...Thanks..Jeff
