Wanted: 2004 C-class Sport wheels
 

If anyone has a set of 2004 C-class Sport wheels for sale as take-offs (preferably with tires), let me know. They're the 17x7.5 seven-spoke wheels with 225/45/17 tires. I think they're new for 2004...?

Dave, they are a few years old now I think. They are hard to find because they would have been custom ordered as an option. I have been looking for myself also, but I have not found any as take offs yet. If I find some Ill let you know.

Ashman's brother has a C320 sport with the wheels maybe if he upgrades......

Hmmm.... I dunno, I've never seen these wheels before on any MB. Might just be I missed them though, the dealer in my area is far away and I don't go there often (I get my dealer parts shipped to me). I thought these were new for 2004, maybe not. Wish I had a newer EPC to get the part number, and see what they cost new. Couldn't find them on the Aug-2002 EPC.

Are there any other factory 17x7.5 wheels (non-AMG)? I like the AMG wheels too but they're usually too expensive, and I'd need two sets of fronts (I don't want the staggered setup with 8.5 rears - want to be able to rotate tires!)

I remember seeing a chrome set....is that ok? I dont like chrome, so i never did anything about it.

Chrome is fine - have photos? Just curious if they're the ones I'm thinking of. I should find a photo of them & post it, huh. :)

These 7 spoke wheels were part of the C7 wheel package option
on 2002 and 2003 C-Coupes. They are standard on the 2003 C230 and C320 sport sedans. From 2004 and on, they are standard on all C-coupes and sport C sedans.
Call CEC corp in CA. to see if they have any take offs.
Maybe Renntech or Brabus has some take-offs.

Thanks, Doc! I found a part number in the EPC but there's no pricing for them. :mad: Oh well, not like I could afford new ones anyway. Here's one photo I found:

Yeah, I knew those were the wheels that you were talking about. I saw a set of chrome ones a few months ago. THe guy still might have them. Are you interested in chrome?

Sure, chrome is fine - I don't care either way. Mostly concerned with price. :D

A guy about 19 had them on his car, he took them off because he wanted bigger. He was advertizing on bnzsport.com a few months ago. I was going to get them, but I dont like chrome. However they have some very light curb rash. Look him up over there. Ill ask the dealer if they get any.

Also, have you been able to talk to renntech about take offs, they usually dont want to talk to me, so I dont talk to them anymore. Herr Fryhl has a cool business though. RUF is the nicest tuner I have met with though.

Couldn't find them on bnzsport.com. :( Never tried calling any of the tuners about takeoffs... might be worth a shot though. :p
