Yep - they're sold, shipping out tomorrow. If you can afford them, I'd highly recommend springing for the 500E style lights. I have two sets and they are fantastic. Austin (omegabenz) is organizing a group buy for some right now - looks like $459 complete with everything, plus S&H (about $20).

If they are better than the regular Euro's, I'm game. I was about to order a pair of Bosch from Adsit for 450.00.
Also, I sincerely appreciate all the tips on the 300D, 1987 that you have passed on, just had mine painted, new shocks coming, about through with the initial post purchase grief. Roger Helms

The 500E Euro lights have no fog light. Instead, they have a pencil-beam driving light, for super-duper high beams. I never used my fogs anyway so that was OK with me. Also the 500E lights are chromed inside and just look a lot better, IMO. Here are some photos of them:
http://www.meimann.com/images/mercedes/W124_headlights/ BTW - I would NOT buy anything from Adsit! Search the forums for some threads about them. There are other vendors with much better service. For plain old Euro lights, I highly recommend PUMA (www.puma-access.com), call them up and ask for Paul. Their price for new Hella Euros (with fogs), including new amber turn signal lenses, all 8 bulbs, connector housings, and instructions is $399 plus S&H. It's the best price I know of for German-made Euro lights, period.
