Thumbs up 92 300ce

Alon,

Beautiful car you have. I just bought my 95 E 320 a couple of months ago and I too would like to make some modifications to my car; wheels (16 or 17?) and better stereo system. Did you have to buy any adaptors or make modifications with your Alpine CD changer and does it work with the original radio receiver? That Blue engine rocks, nice combination. I think the Euro type lenses look good but only on cars of certain colors such as black, silver, or blue, not sure how it would look on mine which is champagne like color. Any ways you had done a beautiful job in you car I would not change anything, that hood looks awesome now, not sure how a E 320 would look on you car.

Best regards

My car came with aftermarket alpine HU and changer so I wouldn't be able to tell you what would work with the stock unit.

As for euros, they look good on any color, and improved lighting is really the biggest plus. I have contemplated the hood, but I don;t see a need to do it.

Where can we see pics of your ride. Biggest improvement in looks tot he car is definately wheels, they change the car so much .

Thumbs up My 95 E320

Alon,

A picture of my car ( not the bestone) pretty stock like I said I have not done anything cosmetically yet. I been concentrating on getting all the maintenance/repairs done first, as we speak I am in the process of changing the belt, belt tensioner, and the L and R transmission cooling hoses (thanks to Phil for the parts), wish me luck, I may have bitten more than I can chew. You may be right about the Euro lenses, in fact I saw a picture of an E 300 similar in color than mine with the Euro lenses and the lenses look very nice. What is your opinion on wheels, size, type of rim?

95 E-320 they rule!

Don't mean to butt in here guys but blue I would get yourself an avantgarde grill. I just did the hood conversion on my 88 W124 after a fender bender and the avantgard grill makes a heck of a difference in looks.

Oh and JCE has euros on his beautiful champagne car...check it out LINKY
his are the 500E euros.

Thumbs up Euros Avantegarde

No problem Yal that’s what these forums are all about helping each other out. You are right JCE has a very nice car and those Euros lenses look awesome. Forgive my ignorance but what are the Avant-garde grills, like to see a picture of one. I ‘m always open to suggestions.

Now back to the belt tensioner….. What the hell! I need to take what off now
