Part#for W126 Power Rear Sunshade
Can anyone provide the part numbers for Power Rear Sunshade for W 126 ? It was a "Euro Only" option and Dealer says that I have to give him part number in order to look up if it's available . I already changed : Bumpers, Blinkers, Headlights, License plate frames to Euro Spec and Sunshade is only item missing off my list . Please help if you can ! ! !

Here's a post from a guy for the 560SEC, from MercedesCoupe list.
Something else my 560 didn't have was the MB rear sunshade. I struggled to > find an SEC rear blind - plenty of 126 saloon ones about but no SEC ones ! > > So I told my breaker to send me a 126 saloon one and I'd try to discover the > differences. My initial though was that because the rear windscreen and rear > parcel shelves on the 126 saloon and coupe are so different, I thought the > rear sunshade, namely the housing for the sunshade would be a different > shape and that a saloon sunshade would not match the contours of the Coupe > parcel shelf. > > Also, would the saloon shade be long enough - the Coupe windscreen is approx > 8-9 inches tallerthan the saloon. > > When I received the saloon sunshade, I pulled out my parcel shelf from the > 560SEC and discovered that the saloon shade fitted in the space behind the > parcel shelf trays perfectly ! In addition, my parcel shelf had markings in > the insulation on the underside of the shelf, to highlight where I need to > drill holes for the sunshade housing bolts and also where to make the > cut-out for the sunshade motor. > > It was all so simple - drilled the five bolt holes in the parcel shelf for > the sunshade housing and made the cut-out for the shade motor. Nothing European about it. I got mine at a wrecker's. Easy job and what a convenient difference in interior temp. Good luck
