WTB: W114 280C NOS Left Hand Side Blue Door Panel

I am looking for a NOS Left Hand Side Door Panel for my 1974 280C. Blue MB-Tex with power windows, i.e. no hole in the panel for the manual window crank. Gahh, Worlduph, etc., do not stock them. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks. But you are talking about 240D, which is 4-door. It has different front doors than my 280C 2-door coupe.

Thanks anyway :-)

Door panels for a coupe are going to be hard to find in any color. Have you considered finding a good panel of another color and spraying it with SEM paint?
I am facing that and fortunately need black panels (W115 with holes for crank handle) - its hard to mess up black, blue would be another story, and you would probably have to paint all the other panels to get even results.

drop me an email on easter. I'll be visiting some parts cars out of state. One's a 114 coupe with a blue interior. however, I don't recall what style windows it had or if the panels are servicable. -CTH

cth.... per your e-mail...

cth,

Please find attached a picture I took from the Internet. It shows the interior identical to mine. In this case I will not have to worry about getting a digital camera (I do not have one).

So, I would appreciate if you could check if the car you are going to see has the following parts I am looking for:

1. Left hand side door panel for a Series 2 car, made in blue MB-Tex, with no holes for manual window cranks. It is important it does not have these vertical "wrinkles", as these panels tend to develop wrinkles over the time.

2. Left hand side internal lateral decorative front window panel (also blue). Please see the picture, top on the left hand side. This panel runs inside the car along the left hand side of the windshield. It needs to be in a very good condition (no cracks etc.)

3. "Colder" black square AC sign. Please see the picture in the middle. I circled this black "Colder" sign. I do not need the knob that sits in the middle.

4. Plastic cover that holds electric window switches just behind the gear shift. It needs to be blue, too... (see the picture, too). And no hole for the electric antenna - just the two window switches.

5. Door pockets, blue, with proper chrome strips.

Please let me know if you now understand which parts I am talking about. I am sorry for this lenghty list :-)

And again, I appreciate your willingness to help me!

Regards,

PK2
