wood parts for 90 420sel
I am looking for good to excellent conditioned zebrano wood shifter, console wood (around window buttons) and heater wood (around heater buttons). Can anyone help me with this or give me direction to where I might find these parts? Does anyone sell new pieces such as slaccessories.com ? Thanks.

Your only hope for wood is the salvage yard and ebay.
The 126 shifter surround wood is a hot item and a nice piece on ebay goes for well over $100.00. I find it hard to justify spending big money just to fix the cracked wood in my car, so I am holding out for a bargain. Maybe call PG auto and see if they can help you. Be careful- the earlier wood (pre~'89) looks different- less varinish or something. Mike

I beg to differ about the shifter wood. You can score it for less than that. I parted out an '81 300SD and I still have the wood for it. I have wood for all the doors, glove box, dash, around hazard switch above radio. I do have the shifter wood but it is ratty. You may be able to refinish it.
Someone was supposed to buy this stuff but I have not received a check yet. I will give him a week or two. If I don't hear from him after that I'll give you next dibs.

By the way- your shifter wood is not compatiable with a '90 126 car. Second generation cars used park lockout. Mike
