wanted - parts for 1980 300TD wagon (turbo)
 

Hey all:

I'm new to the forums, and I was told this was the place for questions about MBs.

I am looking for some parts for my 1980 300TD wagon. Specifically I need a matched set of injectors (5), refurbished with new nozzles is fine. The injectors in there now are well over 100,000 miles old.

Also need to replace the fuel primer pump. Not the assembly, just the part that unscrews in order to pump. It leaks when pumping and is probably pulling air into the system.

Lastly (and maybe this could just be a suggestion), I'm thinking that the engine shock(s) is/are shot because the engine shakes horribly at idle. I'm sure new injectors will settle the shaking down, but should I check on the shocks? How will I know they are bad?

You need to also check your motor mounts, they can be the problem with most of the shaking...they are easy to check..a visual check is all you will need to see if they are collapsed...
