Scorpian Zeros
Hey Luke,
I have some 285/50/18 's for my ML. I was looking for the directional marking on these tires and couldn't see one. I bought them "pre-owned" so I don't know which corner they came off of. Does the scorpian go on the outside? What marking should I be able to see. Rgds, Ed

I dont think the Scorps are directional but I will check on our LR Defender tomorrow.

it does not matter what corner they came off of, or go back onto, just as long as they are pointed in the same direction. if there is no marking that says the direction, they may not be directional.

What kind of marking? An arrow? I didn't see any marking on the outside and haven't crawled underneath to look on the inside tire wall. The tread noise has increased since I had them mounted on some new wheels.
I was hoping our tire guru would answer this question for me.... I know some people think scorpian zeros are noisy, but should they change from one wheel to another? Thx, Ed

Luke, thanks for answering that for me! Would it stand to reason that the tires might make more noise than before if they were mounted differently on a remount? Would going from one wheel to another, Lorinser - AMG, make a road noise difference?
Rgds, Ed

Those tyres can be symetrical or asymetrical.
Early ones it didn't matter which direction or side because they were the same. The new design of the same name has an inner and a outer side. It's only written on the inner side though.
