'78 450SL tires for custom rims??

Thinking of buying custom rims for my 1978 450sl. Purely for looks. "Kaotik's" Z5 17" wheels are about the only ones I can find that say they will fit the 450sl. I want to put 215/50/17 tires on them. Will all this work out without rubbing or front end issues? Any other suggestions for after market chrome rims on a '78 450SL?
