Help on tire purchase-

I need your opinion about tires for my 420sel. I am in S. california, so dry weather, no snow driving. I am looking for comfort rather than high performance, definately want a quite and smooth ride and last but not least looking for logitivity and off-course do not want to spend a fortune, about $75/piece. My tire size is 205/65/15 and I am not sure about putting bigger size in the rear.
I have read a lot of posts and also looked on the tirerack, the more i read more i become educated and along with it comes the confusion . I am leaning towards BSRE950 or BF T/A or BS LSH but kumho looks good too But wait Yoko are not bad either But I don't want the clamshell and how aobut segmented yada yada yada and yada. Now you know what I mean HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEElp Please.
I will appreciate all the help.

I put kuhmos on my girls honda and they ride nice and overall great tire.

I forget which ones I got..

But they are way better than the firestones she had.

I have kuhmo kh11 on my car and I like them, great tire for the money and serve my purposes. and I am in so cal too, so I know all about our nice weather. apart from the last couple of weeks of rain we had.

I can recommend Kuhmo also. Bought 205/60/15 from Tirerack, installed by local garage, under $300 total. Quiet and smooth on my 94 E320.
Regards,
Mark

I would recommend the Turanza LS-H .... and if you want a lower cost tire which is still pretty good on heavy cars the Avid H4S

Kuhmo 711/716

I just replaced a set of Kuhmo 711 Ecstas on my 97 E320. I changed due to uneven wear from slight toe problem. I got only 24000 miles on them, partly from my front end, partly from inability to rotate due to directional tires. The tires without wear problems wore evenly and were about to the wear ribs when changed.
I don't believe I would have gotten more than 30,000 miles even with an aligned front end.
These 711's handled/gripped wonderfully, had a little road noise due to tread design, but were a good riding tire.

I decided to try Kuhmo 716 Ecstas ( the 711's were strictly summer, I got caught in the snow....like slicks!) The 716's are extremely quiet so far (very few miles) handle fine ..hopefully will run in the snow if needed. I paid $98.00 mounted/balanced plus state tax. ( could have saved about 10-12 each through tire rack probably )

I'll update if there are problems.... Stock wheels 215/55 16 tires
