Wheel Size

I was wondering if anyone knew the correct wheel size for a 1987 300SDL. I am looking at buying a spare wheel off ebay, but I'm am not sure about the width of the rim. Thanks.

Hal,

The wheel is 15" x 7" width.

The width is measured between the inside flanges.

Be careful of the offset. Many of the 15 hole wheels are from the W124 cars and their offsets are too high (49). I learned this the hard way. I've got a set of four 15 hole wheels that I cannot use (neither can you).

Brian,

WHat is the correct offset (ET) for the SDL wheels?

The offset is 25mm. You probably could use wheels with up to 30mm, but, the wheel would be very close to the tie rod (1/8" or so).
