Can I use non stock size..

I have a 300E, 195/65-15 is the stock right..
I"m looking to buy 205/60-15 tires, cause found a good used set.
Is there much of a difference? Any rubbing? Anyone using this size?

Hey Oasis,

go to this site: http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

you can type in both tire sizes and compare all the aspect ratios.
I know on my w126 i went from 195/70-14 to 205/65-16 and have no trouble with ride quality or rubbing.

Good Luck, R.

This is what is known as a Plus Zero size which means it can be used with the factory rims, that is what is on my 1986 300E

that size will work easily... I have 205-55-15...

when these tires go, I am going to try and upgrade to 16's on the CE . The E has 16's and it looks sweet.
