Oxidation spots on AMG rims
 

Hi, I have a set of AMG rims that I may want to sell. They have some spots on them that I can't get off. I guess it's oxidation? Is there any way to clean this? Thanks

I have a set of AMG rims, where the paint has come off around the spokes on the monoblock wheels. My theory was that it does not get painted very well in that area. I have been a little disappointed in that it only took about 5 years for the paint to start wearing off around there.

My experience is that it is not oxidation, but rather the clear coat has failed or has peeled off, leaving an opaque appearance.
