ET49 compared to ET35

Hello,

I have a C280 with wheel offset of ET35 and an E320 with an offset of ET49 !

The tire size and wheel size is identical except for the offset.

I want to put the ET35 wheels on the E320 which has ET49...Can I do this safely and without har to anything ?

What will the difference be while driving with ET35 wheels on an ET49 default>

Thanks much..

It will move your wheels OUT a good 1/2 inch ( 14 mm ).
Not sure if it would result in the tires rubbing on the fenderlips. You could try one front & back. ;)

DON'T PUT ET35 ON AN ET49 OFFEST

Car will not move forward or backward....feels just like the emergencey brake is on....DON'T DO IT....I tried and it doe snot work.

Thanks for the info

That's probably because your wheelbolts are too long, jamming into the parkingbrake at the rear. ;)
