Couple weeks ago I started having an air leak from one of the tires on my 18" Carlson rim. After inspecting the tire shop told me that my both front rims are damage from the in-side. Thats what coses the leak on one of them. Good thing I've got a set of 15" AMG with blizaks on them for winter. Soon do will get to worm for winter tires and I will have to go back to Carlson. Does anybody know where can I fix this kind of dents. I'm looking for shop who deals directly with retail customers. Going through repair shop mey cost little too much. Any links or tel. numbers are apprcieciate

Rennsport should be able to fix/refinish any wheel for $75 a corner. Most OEM wheels can be done on a core exchange but I'd guess you'd have to send your (comparatively rare) tuner wheels in for turnaround. His work is actually better than what comes from the factory. check out www.peachparts.com/rennsport.htm
You can also search the shop forum for references to Rennsport. Hope this helps...Lee |
