This is for a 1983 240D.

I posted this on the wheels and tire bulletin board and received no response.

The current wheels are with the hub caps. I have an opportunity to buy a set of the bundt cake pan wheels with tires. The wheels are 14" with 15 oval slots. I was pretty sure they would fit until I was told they came off of a 12 body style car.

Will these wheels fit the car?

Sorry about that.

The wheels came off of a 126 body style.

Same off-set as the W123 cars!14" wheels should work depending on width. Sometimes the inner lip ALMOST hits the tie-rod end rubber boot. 15" wheels clear.

Thanks for the feedback. It is sounding like they will fit, but they are wider, so I need to try them to find out for sure.

Thanks again.

123 wheels

I don't think they will fit. But I could be wronggggg, however, try the front wheels first, if they don,t hit the tie rods, then you should ne OK.
