I posed about a bent rim on the wheel forum.
But this is a continuation originally the holes in the rim were off Now after a day of learning how these things are made turns out that the Aluminum AMG Rim has a "Steel Spacer" imbedded in the holes. Now on my rim that didn't align. I had to knock these out and put new ones on. So i did that. But heres the problem I had a set of bolts shortened. For both rear tires one set went in perfectly fine the other set went in a screwed up the bore on the inside of the hub. I couldn't leave the car @ the tires so they took floor of their long bolts and mounted my old rim on. so know I have 3 AMG's and one centra in the back ? how does one fix the hub? I know the rotor comes off but there are more holes connected to the base where the drum is hope yeal can help. Btw i love riding on such big rims and tires makes me feel like im driving a tank.. oh wait I am! Go DIESEL! -jivesh |
