I just installed Eibach springs on my car with the original shocks. My car is a little lower on the driver's side as opposed to the other side.It rubs a lot on the driver's side when driving over dips, bumps etc. Without sitting in the car, there is less clearance between fender/tire on the driver's side and more clearance (fender/tire) on the passenger's side. How can I make the rubbing go away?

There are three things that you can do without turning the lips: 1) install 205/50-16 tires. Your current tires are too tall and is the wrong size for the car; 2) install a thicker spring pad on the left front; and 3) install stiffer shocks like Bilstein Sport or Koni Sport.

The prudent measure would be to get that car up on a lift and find out why its resting lower on one end. I don't think there is any possibility that you installed different spring pads in the front. You can check by counting the bumps on the pads themselves.
My guess is, if this car never leaned before, then the install was wrong and one spring is not seated properly in the back or front.

In the 1980's it was common (too common)for Mercedes to be lower of the left front. I know, I owned two brand new 190E and 300E. My 300E was about 1/2" lower on the left front as delivered from the dealer. I later replaced the shocks and spring with Sacks Sports suspension (Sachs is OE) and spring pads, and it still lean on the left front. My current 500 is also a little lower on the left front. So it seems that Mercedes has some pretty wide build tolerances and one way to level your car is to use thicker pad on one corner.

As I have stated previously, your tire is too tall. If you switch to the correct size you will gain roughly 0.4" clearance and your rubbing problem may go away. Good luck.
