Faulty SLS and tire wear

The accumulators on my 190 were shot. Apparently they have been going bad for a while (daily driver so to me I did not realize the ride change).

Anyway, it has been riding hard for quite some time and the rear tires wore down in 11k. They were rotated one in the time period. The alignment seems to be pretty good as they were not cupped and they wore pretty evenly across the entire tread. he front tires still have plenty of tread left and they were eon the rad for about 5k. Not sure exactly when the sls failed but it still might have had a bit of life in it wen the front tires were on the rear.

I was running Yokohama AVID H4S (I think that is the model .. not looking at them as I type this). They are H rated 215/40/17 and I run about 33-34 PSI.

Last week I replaced the accumulators and the ride is sooooooo much better.

So, having said all this, could the hard rear end have resulted on the abnormal tire wear or is this normal? BTW, I do not track the car and I am a semi aggressive driver (no drifting, burn outs .. )

Thanks

I've seen faulty SLS systems and the rear wheels were always like this
//-----\\ due to the fact the rear end was sagging.
were your tires worn out more on the inner edge of the tires?

No, the rear was not sagging at all. The tires wore evenly side to side. The car just had no give what so ever. Bounced down the road like a super ball. I was thinking maybe the lack of 'give' would wear the tires more because 11k off of a 60k tire seems a bit crazy.
