Not too early to think about snow tires...a good deal on W210 size...
 

I found a good deal on Tirerack last night. Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires for my '98 E300 on special for $85 each plus a $50 rebate on 4 tires bringing them down to $72.50 each plus shipping.

Anyone else running 215/55/16 size and looking for winter tires might want to look into this as these were the only size on special. I ordered a set and will have them mounted on my spare wheels in plenty of time for the first flakes to fall.

We had out first snow and even though it wasn't much I had just enough time to put my new Dunlops on before it started falling...I really like these tires...they have a very aggressive tread but are quiet and smooth and seem to devour the snow. The only downside is they are directional tread so rotation is limited to front to back but other than that I recommend them to anyone looking for snows this winter.
