wheel upgrade

Hello, I own a 1995 e-420 124 chassis it has the stock 16" 8 hole rims. I recently picked up a set of 17" amg 5 spoke wheels off a 2001 clk 430. Thay are staggard, front.. 225-45-17 rear.. 245-40-17 I was wondering if the different size tire front to rear would cause any problems with the ASR system ?

The tire sizes you mentioned are standard equipment on many M-B models.
Very little difference in rolling diameter.
This will not cause a problem with ASR, ABS, ESP, etc.
