Spring Pad Redux
Reporting back my findings:
Just got back from having the stock "4 bump" spring pads swapped out for "1 bump" pads on my 2000 E430 Sport with Eibach Pro-Kit springs. WOW! Dropped it another full 1/2" Now looks like it is supposed to with those 18" wheels. You can also really tell it is lower when you drive it. Ride is exactly the same as before. Now I have to find someone who can align it. M-B dealer could not get their alignment machine heads to clamp on the wheels. Any ideas out there for alignment? Also said they could not balance my wheels without damaging them. Unbelievable.
