New Wheels :)

I finally got some new wheels for my benz, They are off another W123. They were in terrible shape when I got them, All four wheels had tons of fix a flat in them and sat flat for years. The tires did nothing but leak when i first had them swapped so I took them back off the rims and cleaned up the bead. I painted just the center section and one day I will have them powder coated.

Not AMG. Perhaps Ronal.

those look identical to my ronal r-9's. possibly not the original center caps? or did eagle make penta knock offs too? any markings on either the inside or outside of the wheels?

lucky find!

I'll have to check for some markings tomorrow in the daylight, These wheels came off a 1976-77 300D so I knew they would fit lol

I've been thinking about selling these rims, two of them are leaking and I could not find out why. Turns out I did not paint the inner rim after stripping them. The tires on them are in good shape but junk tires lol, they are douglas radials from walmart and they have a terrible radial pull. I put my stock rims back on and it rides like a new car, goodyear tires

Just curious what I could get for these rims?

Look like ronal's to me too. Should be a fairly obvious "RONAL" on the face of one of the wheel spokes.

Unless you sell them to an unsuspecting soul, you won't get much money for them until you figure out the leak. Wheels could be bent/not true which probably makes them worthless.
