\'94 E420 wheels on a \'91 300D????

'94 E420 wheels on a '91 300D????

Will the wheels from a 1995 E420 (205-55-16 front and 225-50-16 rear) fit a 1991 300D? I am worried that since they are a little bit wider, especially in the rear, that this will be too much for the car too push.
Any thoughts?
