Regardless of what tire, Discount Tire price matches web prices. So...choose your tire. Find & print low price. Add installation, tax & you're out the door.

I have Michelins on my E300 and am very pleased. Just put Kuhmos on my '85 wagon and those are fine and cost effective. I ONLY go to Discount Tire. Lot and lots of dealings with them: all good!
Somebody I'm sure will have a bad experience with them, but they are few and far between.......

I got the Kuhmo Solus' from DT. They've been fantastic! Great ride and LONG warranty! DT will try to tell you they're the "entry level" tire for this car but I've been very satisfied.

Sams' Club has the Michelin Primacy MXV4's (215/55R16 93H) for about $145 each. They have been very good for me for the past year or so - free tire rotations is nice too

Michelin Primacy MXV4 is the best all around tire for this car. Nice driving, good treadwear, reasonable stick, extremely smooth and quiet. Expensive up front, but my personal experience is they last longer and have fewer problems than other brands, so cost per mile is not higher.

Sams used to have long waits to be taken care of. 2 hrs shopping in their store & prices about where others were caused me to shop elsewhere.

Good point - looks like Discount Tire has the Primacy's for $20 less too...

I cheaped out and bought Chinese tires. Wanli 3855's or something like that. Don't make the mistake I did. They whine terribly. Sounds like the diff. is going. Only have about 3K on them and they haven't quieted down. Next time it will be the Falkens or Kumho's.

I've been buying tires from Tire Rack for many years now.
