w123 rim options???
OK, I did do alot of searches and reading.
Now I am reading for the fellow members to ring in your opinions First a question: what is the offset of factory steel rims for a w123, ET#? And the fun stuff: What MB rim options are out there for the w123 chassis and "bulky" steering arms to use as direct fit!? - nothing needing washers, spacers or any mods. Your reasons for preference: visual and ride comfort?? And please include all bolt up options you can think of..... I truly believe there are many 300D, 240D and 300TD drivers out there that are totally confused searching this topic for the best options. Alloy bunts and steelies have been covered, except the offset of the later? Thanks to everyone that takes time to read

Ok had many views but no one wanted to ring in the simple answers.
So I did some better searching and read contradicting posts... Would someone that has tried, please confirm if these 15" rims from a 1992 300D w124 would direct fit my w123 chassis (with correct lugs of course) I believe some have said that w124 chassis rims will NOT fit in general, but had to ask for this specific Thanks!

Not sure the ET on these yet until I get over to the seller and do some pulling/trial fit.
Wondered if anyone recognized them and knew the ET by memory? I have a new set of 15" tires I wanted to use... without any major expenses on rims or use of any spacers (read my AMG mistake) The 15" stock flat faced from w126 aren't that exciting to me. Nothing too flashy, just 15" and fun!

Still shopping.
First hope is a local set of aluminum 14" hubcap rims...if not I may stick with stock on my euro with 14" steelies, as I hope to get hands on color-matching (thistle-green if anyone has some...) caps Tirerack has some decent looking unique options around $4-500 a set, but they are NEW. Used stuff just isn't worth shipping ~80-100 for no-tire rims IF you find a good lead to share in NC, send me a PM please

These would also look nice on your 123.
Thou you'd need 1/2 inch spacers to mount them on a 123. They should look like this when mounted on a W123:

1/2 spacers are a substantial investment in addition to the rims.
Make sure you get a quality set of hub-centric spacers, 5x112. and then you'll need custom length ball-seat bolts. someone here can help ID those rims by benzmizer, some early 90's C-class I think I found a few aluminum 14" hub cap rims, and I'm going for a stock euro look. !!WTB: plastic tipped hub cap clips 12-16+ total also thistle green hub caps, at least 3+ and one more aluminum 14 x 5.5" rim if affordable!!

I recommend H&R spacers and I get my lugbolts from RADUSADirect.com. They're parts are TuV certified so you're not getting Chinese garbage.
