Has anybody used a 19" on a SL600?

The rolling radius can be worked out so that it will fit on the car but the profile would be so low that just about any pothole, speedbump, pavement irregularity would be a significant hazard. Not to mention that the stock suspension would not be able to take advantage of the 19"s sidewall vs the OE Sport sizing. Still, if cosmetic is the goal, it can probably be done. I would recommend going with OE 129 Sport package sizing.
Hope this helps...Lee |

I agree with Lee, the 19" will actually hurt performnance because of the extra weight of the wheels. Also, buy going another Plus size up, you will not be able to fit any wider tires anyways, there fore defeating the purpose of getting more rubber on the ground. They will look nice, but watchout for the rocks, cause a 30 series tire is like having a rubber band on theose expensive wheels.
