Wheel Refinishing Places and Prices
 

I have a set of old school BBS RAs that I'm trying to have cleaned up, repaired, lip polished, and the centers painted/powder coated black. The only local company where I am in Upstate New York is saying that because of the difficult nature of the basket weaves, the job will cost $235 for each rim. Apparently getting each surface stripped and prepped is rather difficult and the price jumps from $149 because of this.

Does this sound high to anyone else? Does anyone know of a place that will do the job for cheaper or will at least take a look? Any recommendations? I'm thinking that if the price for the work and the shipping is cheaper, I'll take my business elsewhere. Thanks for the help!
