ML wheels on a W124?
I just bought an 87 Diesel wagon and the rims have the prerequisite 80's chrome dip treatment that I dislike so much. I found a set of 16" ML wheels that I'd like to use. Anybody know if they will fit well on a W124 wagon? offset is ok?

it's not the offset, I believe the ML and SUV wheels have a different hub diameter or lug spacing.

They're both 5x112 but in any case the offset DOES seem to be wildly different. handsome wheels and there was a set of 4 selling for $60 this week in LA.

OT: Just curious with your estate's current wheels. Plan to sell them? PM me for your wheels details.

I have seen ML wheels on two 124s before, they poked out and looked bad, but they were bolted to the car and it was rolling.

Yeah I'll sell them. But I dont want to deal with shipping them. They have old Michelin tires with good tread but they're 6 years old so I would not run them for long. And the wheels are chrome plated and much of the chrome is peeling. but not a lot of rash or damage other than the chrome.

It's too bad about the offset on those ML wheels. They're handsome. And cheap!

I have four stock wheels from my 1990 300E. Non chrome. Some slight curbing.
$100.
