That car looks good; on the older models I like the silver Pentas, especially on a silver car, but the stance is great.

agreed. the 16 inch 225s front and 245s rear are as big as you can get without rubbing on the vintage generation 1 AMG wheels.

black works for me = silver gets too dirty.

Machined rims and silver center cops would really look great on that. Love those wheels.

I found this thread while looking for offsets for rims on a W116. I've found a lovely pale blue 280SE, and have a set of 15x7 Pentas on their way here. Got to be worth a try.

I'd prefer a 450, or a 6.9, but such things can be sorted later if the car is 'right' to begin with.
