124 wheel choices use 201's??
I've done some searching, but found nothing about this.
the 201 has very similar wheels to the 124. same offset, and diameter... however they are 11lbs lighter! any issues with using them on a 124 wagon? sedan? I've taken some pictures, and will post them once I move this thread to the wheels and tires forum. perhaps tomorrow. anyway, please post with any good or bad information on the wheel as a choice for the 124. I'm thinking it'll be a great unsprung weight choice for the car.

124-spec rims should be a direct bolt to a 201 (and 210)

Are they the same width, 6.5"? If so why not use them?

124 stock wheels are 15", 210 uses 16". Offsets are close so you can interchange them if you pick the right tires -- 205/55 tires on the 16" wheels will be a very close match to the overall diameter of 195/65 tires on the 15" wheels. No odometer correction necessary.

1/2" diameter difference would not make an 11lb difference.

I did the "in my hand" test of the combo weights... I'll get an exact shipping weight difference when I have the car back in my yard on friday...
the wheel dimensions were identical on the numbers stamped on the wheel inside.
