I know what you mean. I had a customer come in for a brake job, but a tire shop put the bolts on to about 15k ft/lbs. I got most of them off by standing and jumping upon a breaker bar, but one actually broke. That's why Mercedes no longer uses that extended bolt. Once you get some torque on them...snap... Since the wheel had such deep holes for the bolts, the wheel was pretty much destroyed getting the rest of the bolt out. It was pretty much welded into place!

Where did you find these chrome replacement extended wheel bolts???...I have been looking for them to no avail.
