Finally decided on Yokohama tires, but

for my 300CE, I am not having luck finding my size which is P225/50 R18. After reading most of the posts on tires I chose this make because of its quietness, longevity and good reviews.

225/50-18?

That tire is 682mm in diameter. That's 26.9" tall for the metric imparied.

Your factory size is 195/65-15, which is 25.0" tall. You're WAY off for the proper size. The proper sizing is:

205/55-16 (+1)

225/45-17 (+2)

225/40-18 (+3)

And keep in mind that fitting 225 section tires on the W124 often results in rubbing.

I am just replacing what I have on the car now. There is no rubbing, and we're talking rears only. I like the look of the tires which I have had on the car for some years now. No way am I going to change down to skinny tires and wheels.

Well, if you want to keep an oddball size, then your selection will be limited.

Call the tirerack. If they can't help, no one can.
