Does anyone know what is the best and most cost efficiant way of refinishing my wheels without sending them off somewhere. Ive had these 16in Lorinser wheels eversince I bought the car, and the condition of them is real bad with scuffs, unremovable brakedust, and the worst part is there dull. I'm thinking of just sanding them down then polishing them, right now the center used to be painted and the Lip Polished. What I really want to do is change the rims to AMGs.

I'm not sure where Mill Valley is but there are probably many wheel shops that do rims refinishing. I know that wheel techniques does (www.wheeltechniques.com 408 / 866-5859) They are in Campbell, near San Jose. They advertise prices starting from $69 so that might be a reasonable deal. I'm assuming that you don't want to mail them anywhere right? I would check the phone directory for any of these kind of shops around your area, you might be surprised at what you find
