I’m looking at 17” MB AMG wheels (five spoke) made to fit a lot of years CLKs and SLKs, and wonder if they would also fit r129s. The r129 is not listed as a fit, but seems to me they might work. Here are the specs:

Front: HWA1704010102. 17”x7.5”. ET 37.
Rear: HWA 1704010202. 17”x8.5”. ET 30.

To an amateur like me, those widths and offsets seem close enough to r129 specs that they should work. But maybe not close enough somehow?

I’m even wondering if you could fit those rears to the front too, since I’d prefer not to have staggered wheels. Any information would be appreciated.

the fronts seem a bit thin at 7.5"

The rears an all 4 corners should be pretty close.
