Hey Ben,
I saw your post over at bekkers and to answer your last question first, no, the SLK centercaps will not fit your wheels. They are 3" diameter, sorry.

Next, I guess, in my opinion, you don't have much choice but to pursue the original Antera centercaps for your wheels not so much because of size, but aesthetics. We have all seen Antera knock offs (most of them bad or cheap) that, if they were mine, I would want everyone to know they are real.

I would contact Claus Ettenberger Corp., who was the original importer of your wheels (no matter who the reseller was) at http://www.cecwheels.com .They should be able to set you up with some brand new centercaps.

How'd the refinishing turn out? Just curious. Paul

Paul,
Thanks for the help. I was thinking about just getting the original Antera caps too.

well, the rims finally arrived at my house on tuesday and this time, they were packaged correctly. in boxes and padded. i was expecting the worse when i opened the boxes to find the rims, but honestly, they turned out quite nice. the rims were refinished in a nice silver color and it seems that he took some of the dings out. not a perfect job, but the rims look good enough to be near new. however, he did not take off all the chrome from inside the wheels and so in effect when refinishing the paint looks rough and jagged, where the chrome used to flake. this is a minor discrepancy but within aesthetic limits. the only complaint i have is that again, no hardware was included..but i'm so glad all this sh-t is over with that i'll just go get my own.

thanks for the concern...have a nice day;

ben
