The IMPCO catalogs recommends replacing the rear camber control-rods when lowering the rear suspension via springs.

Glad to here from somebody from Santa Barbara, I went to elementary school in Goleta (Isla Vista). Now as for your question, the camber control rods that you are refering to will not have to be replaced for most lowering springs but, that does depend on how far you are lowering your car. The more you reduce the height of your car the more likely you will need the ability to have additional camber adjustment.
