Question URGENT! Will stock 7-spoke SLK rims fit on a 190E?

Hi all!

I am going to check out this set of stock SLK rims this weekend. These are the 7-spoke rims with the front and rear in different sizes. I remember hearing that the front will fit, but the rear (wider?) rims will not fit perfectly without some modification on the 190E. My car is a 1990 190E with stock 15" rims. The SLK rims are 16" rims. I need to know quickly because I am going to look at them this weekend! Thanks!

SLK rims
front: 205/55/16
rear: 225/50/16

190E rims
front and rear: 205/60/15

Do you guys think the SLK rims will fit my 190E?

SLK WHEELS

I have a 1991 190E 2.6 5-SPEED with the same SLK 7 spoke wheels 16x7 front and 16x8 rear, they fit and look great. The tire size you mention will not work as Luke said. I have mounted TOYO 205 50 16 on all four rims with no rubbing at all. The same size tire will fit on different size rims and looks good. The 8 inch wide rims on the rear really give the car a better overall appearence from the back and helps with cornering too. If you would like to see some pics I can email them to you. My email is drmspce@aol.com BTW, sorry for the late reply, I just happened upon this thread
