factory W202 pads w/ aftermarket springs???

Will the 'pigtailed' W210 pads that are called for on my late '96 C36 work w/ H&R sport springs or will I need the early pre '96 tapered 'flat pads to fit?????

Here are the part #'s I have ready to go on w/ my springs. They are the W210 'pigtail' design since I have W210 springs(late '96)
Chassis ?? pad#1 ??
front - A 210 321 01 84 5mm thick
back - A 210 325 01 84 5mm thick

Here are the part #'s I might need. They are the flat 'tapered' design that carry the W202 part #
Chassis ?? pad#1 ??
front - A 201 321 09 84 8mm thick
back - A 201 325 09 44 8mm thick

If not, then I will make my own 'thin' pads from sheet rubber available at the local home improvement store intended for bathtub lining!!!!. My total pad thickness will be around 2-4mm instead of the factory 5-8mm #1 pad thickness.

ive asked several specific questions on pads to little response.

what im lead to believe is this: early W202 (like my 95 C-280) utilize the "flat" springs/pads. the later 202 uses the other.

so... if the H&R springs are in fact cut flat at top, you would need the early pad. do you have the springs in hand?

i bought the eibach "pro kit" springs specifically for my early 202. i have not installed them yet. bekkers had one set with a damaged box deeply discounted, so i bit at the opportunity.

what are you doing for shocks? if the springs are lower, you probably need to change shocks for proper dampening.
