Second request, Luke please respond, thank you.
Dear Luke, My 1980 450SEL will need tires soon and I would like to go from the standard 205/70-14 to 215/70-14. I have always had MXV4's in my 116 cars but they of course do not come in that size. The x-ones do but they are white walls and I do not wish to mount them white side in, it still shows if you look hard enough under the car. I saw on the Rack's site that Dunlop makes the D65 black wall on the size I want but it is a TR rated tire. The car calls for an HR rated tire but I am looking more for comfort/ride with some performance. Any opinions/suggestions? Thank you very much and best regards, Joe Brasileiro 1980 450SEL 1987 Jaguar XJ6 [This message has been edited by jbrasile (edited 09-14-2000).] |

I would not recommend the "T" rated tire. stick to an "H" rating because the ratings have alot to do with overall tire stability and construction. The Pirelli P4000 super touring 205/70-14 wouldn't be a bad choice for $54.00 ea.
